The RockShox Flight Attendant is an automatic suspension system that listens to the rider and responds in real time. True to the motto "Sense It First", a series of sensors on the fork, shock and crankset work together to detect every bump, slope and pedal stroke.

Flight Attendant is an integral part of the AXS ecosystem. Everything works wirelessly, with interchangeable batteries. Using the SRAM AXS app, settings can be made for the entire system.

The revised 38 mm chassis offers not only more features than ever before, but also plenty of power and above all no reason for excuses. The ZEB Ultimate is designed to save as much weight as possible and features superior stiffness and efficiency.

Charger Flight Attendant | The electronic damper features automatic 3-position compression adjustment (Open/Pedal/Lock) with independently adjustable low speed compression and rebound.

DebonAir+ | Designed to strike the perfect balance between what riders really want: buttery responsiveness, more support throughout travel, and a fork that stands taller in travel for more confidence when things get steep.

Butter Cups | Filter 20 % of high-frequency vibrations. This significantly reduces hand and arm fatigue, giving the rider more control for longer.

Ultimate Bushing | This package provides the best possible ride by maximizing bushing overlap in the fork and reducing friction.

Pressure Relief Valves | This valves eliminate unwanted air pressure build-up in the dip tube assembly caused by altitude or temperature changes. With one or two button presses, the valves provide premium fork feel.

Maxima Plush Dynamic Suspension Lube | This shock oil reduces friction and improves fork performance on every ride.

RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate Flight Attendant rear shock

The Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock is designed to perfectly maintain the balance between uphill capabilities and proven Downhill performance. Equipped with the Flight Attendant system, the electronic damping always conveys optimal control both when pedaling and in demanding, extreme descents.

SRAM Pedal Sensor

The small pedal sensor finds a place in the hollow shaft of the crankset (not included) and captures the rider's input in real time. As soon as the crank is set in motion, the Flight Attendant control module receives a notification.

SRAM AXS Battery & Charger

The proven power source for all AXS and eTap components also operates suspension fork and rear shock of the Flight Attendant system. With the help of the appropriate charger, the 24 grams light battery is fully charged in about 60 minutes.

Fueled by Science – The suspension positions

The Flight Attendant's algorithm was developed to scientific standards over thousands of trail miles around the globe. It analyzes the constant stream of data to calculate the perfect suspension setting for the rider and the demands of the terrain. Using a three-stage system, Flight Attendant finds the best connection to the trail while providing the rider with the right amount of support and comfort.

  • The Open compression position allows the suspension to use the full available travel. The bike responds sensitively and is always ready to swallow the next big hit. Ideal for downhill use.
  • The pedal compression position tightens the chassis to reduce excessive movement of the fork and shock. The invested energy is converted as directly as possible into propulsion without the tires losing traction. The sweet spot for efficiency.
  • In the Lock compression position, the suspension is set hardest to maximize performance on long climbs and slippery surfaces. Full power ahead!

Feels Like Magic – The modes

In Auto Mode, Flight Attendant decodes every input and sends its commands to the AXS-enabled fork and shock to respond instantly. The suspension is always in just the right position at just the right time, automatically switching between Open, Pedal and Lock compression positions before the rider can even give it a second thought.

With the Bias Adjust function, the behavior of the Flight Attendant in Auto Mode can be adjusted to suit the personal riding style. From the factory, the system is set right in the middle for balanced use of all three suspension positions: Zero Bias. Depending on preference, the Bias setting instructs the Flight Attendant system to use the Open or Lock positions more often. There is no right or wrong, it's all about character and fine tuning the system. Adjustable via Flight Attendant Control Module or SRAM AXS app.

Manual Mode allows the rider to deactivate Auto Mode and take control himself. Depending on need and personal preference, the rider can switch between suspension positions using the Flight Attendant Control Module on the fork or the AXS controller (sold separately).

The Override Mode provides a shortcut to the desired suspension position. Using the appropriate rocker on the AXS controller (sold separately), Auto Mode is deactivated and changed to the selected Override position – Open, Pedal or Lock. When pressed again, the Auto Mode is active again.

The LSC Adjust function allows compression adjustment (Low Speed Compression) for suspension fork and rear shock in 10 steps according to personal preferences. The adjustment is made using the Flight Attendant control module on the fork crown or via SRAM AXS mobile application.
