SRAM RED AXS rear derailleur

The heart of the SRAM AXS ecosystem is lighter, more efficient, and more capable than ever. Covering cassette ranges from 10-28 up to 10-36, this wireless wonder has larger pulleys to decrease chain articulation and increase efficiency, and an Orbit damper to keep everything in place over the rough stuff. One derailleur ready for 1x or 2x, on road or off.

SRAM RED AXS front derailleur

Not just fast and reliable front shifts, but silent running across the whole cassette. The SRAM RED AXS front derailleur uses Yaw technology with electronic trim to ensure the fastest possible shift while eliminating chain rub in all combinations, with the easiest setup around, thanks to a brilliant new tool.

SRAM RED AXS HRD disc brakes

True one-finger braking is at hand. SRAM have overhauled their hood and lever architecture and achieved breakthroughs for fit across all hand sizes and easy access to powerful and smooth, easy braking from anywhere on the bar.
Independent reach and contact point adjustment allow for highly personalized setup, with no risk of pinching your fingers or bottoming out on the bar no matter your settings.

Better finger wrap on the hood means less fatigue on long days, and Bonus Buttons lets you shift or control ANT+ devices with your thumbs. The caliper is not only stiffer, but lighter too, with phenomenal pad clearance for rub-free operation. All that and SRAM still managed to remove 83 g from the pair.

SRAM PACELINE X brake discs

SRAM took their smoothest and quietest brake track and gave it the lightest aluminum carrier they have made yet. The Paceline brake track offers quiet brake operation. SRAM Lockring included.

SRAM RED chain

SRAM took the lightest and most durable chain they have ever made and made it lighter. With no compromises. The HollowPin construction is lighter and stronger than a solid pin, and cutouts in the outer and inner plates drop 13 g from the previous generation. This results in a lighter, faster, stronger and more durable chain.

Technologies:

AXS™

AXS™ is SRAM's integrated wireless platform for connecting electronic bike components with software. The SRAM AXS™ app allows riders not only to check battery levels, influence shifting behavior and configure controls according to personal preferences, but also to create maintenance schedules and update firmware.

Yaw

The derailleur cage rotates and is thus in a constant angular relationship with the chain. The Yaw technology enables trim-free shifting. The shift transitions are thus more direct and precise and in combination with the new Red crank and Red chainrings, the Yaw forms a perfect unit with the chain. Thus, the Yaw technology provides unprecedented performance when shifting forward.

Flattop™

In order to realize the larger ratio range of X-RANGE™ cassettes and to allow correspondingly smoother, smaller-step gear changes, it requires a narrower chain. To ensure that durability does not suffer, SRAM has added material to the flat side of the outer plates and hard-chrome plated the rivets, inner plates and bushings. This way, the Flattop™ chains not only outperform the 11-speed models in terms of durability, but are also at least as efficient.
